A distinguished Master Certified Instructor and law enforcement executive, she brings extensive leadership experience from federal investigative service and advanced law enforcement education to every course. She previously served as Assistant Special Agent in Charge with the Office of Inspector General for the United States Department of Transportation, where she provided strategic leadership, oversight of complex investigations, and management of personnel and operational initiatives supporting federal law enforcement missions.

Recognized for her expertise in behavioral intelligence leadership development and professional training, she has played a key role in strengthening law enforcement capabilities throughout Tennessee through the University of Tennessee Institute for Public Service’s Law Enforcement Innovation Center and around the world through the DHS-Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers. In these roles, she designed and delivered certified leadership and instructor development programs that equip federal, state, and local agencies with the skills and strategies needed to lead effectively in complex public safety environments.

Senior Law Enforcement Instructor with 13 years of experience delivering leadership, behavioral intelligence, and investigative training for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC), and the University of Tennessee Institute for Public Service, Law Enforcement Innovation Center (LEIC). Has delivered thousands of hours of instruction to federal, state, local, and international law enforcement agencies across the U.S. and globally, including training at International Law Enforcement Academies in Europe, Africa, Asia, and Central America.

Expert instructor in leadership and behavioral frameworks including DISC, Motivators, Emotional Intelligence (EQ-i 2.0 and EQ-i 360), The Five Behaviors® and Instructional System Design. Holds extensive experience in program leadership, curriculum development, instructor mentoring, and delivery of complex investigative and leadership training to audiences ranging from field-level officers to senior executives.

Assistant Special Agent In Charge/Criminal Investigator

Served as Assistant Special Agent in Charge for the Southern Region, leading and developing federal special agents across 10 states, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Provided supervisory oversight of complex criminal and civil investigations involving fraud, bribery, product substitution, transportation safety, hazardous materials, and aircraft parts, resulting in hundreds of convictions and millions of dollars in recoveries. Held primary responsibility for investigative management, agent development, performance accountability, and compliance with Department and CIGIE standards.

Led agent mentoring, performance improvement planning, and professional development, contributing to successful advancement and high-performing teams. Coordinated and delivered mandatory regional training programs ensuring 100% compliance across use of force, legal updates, firearms, defensive tactics, interviewing, and officer safety. Regularly briefed senior executives, congressional staff, and U.S. Attorneys on investigative impact and outcomes, earning multiple awards and formal recognition.

Previously served as a Senior Special Agent conducting complex national and international investigations in partnership with federal, state, and local agencies including the FBI, ATF, DEA, IRS, DHS components, and multiple U.S. Attorneys’ Offices. Applied advanced investigative techniques, undercover operations, surveillance, and protective detail assignments, with cases repeatedly cited in Semiannual Reports to Congress.
